Finally upgraded to 550 and am impressed

Good luck with the new rig! Picked my 08 550I in early September and it is the ULTIMATE driving machine! I know, I know... M5 but coming out of an 05 Audi A8L, this thing drives like it's attached to booster rockets! Just an amazing ride... Oh, and who cares how much gas you use...They were meant to be driven right?

congrats, I thoroughly enjoyed upgrading as well, came from a 520d to a 535d with sportpackage; torque galore and many more toys Looking to get the 172m's like you have as well and I wont mind cleaning them...

Thanks all for the comments and Isaiah_Charles it's a auto with SAT. I kept the Sprint Booster from my 525 and probably won't need it. I found that putting it in sport mode quickens the throttle response as well, similar to the SB.

Traded in my 07 525 for a 08 550 sport. The difference is unbelievable and not just in power but in handling as well. All the extras help as well. The 525 only had premium pkg and I added 124's a year ago which helped handling.
The comfort seats are much more comfortable as well as the interior feel. I guess that's from the LCI updates with more leather. The aero package give it a much more aggressive look as well. Only down side is the 19" rims are a pain in the azz to clean.

The 172's are sweet looking wheels but you're right, a pain in butt to clean.
Drive her in good health!
Edit: And glad to see she's staying in the E60.net family!
