looks like the hood isn't closed right. the driver side seems to be popping up a bit.

Awesome interior color. I wanted to do the same with black and grey but opted for black only. Very nice looking car enjoy it.
The dark Monaco exterior with the light gray interior accented with the anthracite bamboo wood is marvelous and I highly recommend it. Thought about black but decided it would be too dark. Is your headliner a light color or did you go for the anthracite?

Wow. Good eye. I hadn't noticied that. I've had the hood open several times since these photos were taken and just checked and it's fine. Thanks for pointing it out.

Wow! Looks great!! And only 2 miles!! That must be close to a record for the least miles on a car when delivered.

Congratulations on both of your babies!

Very Nice color combination! Not sure I've seen any BMW with less mileage than yours.

Very nice the interior!
For the exterior, you need Mtech, 166 and M5 mirrors

Edit : 535i in Germany !??!?!?!?!

Thanks Hotlap. I hadn't seen the color "in person" so I took a leap of faith when I ordered it and have no regrets. It really is a gorgeous color. Most people think it is black at night but when they see it in the day and the metalic paint comes through they're amazed! It's actually staying cleaner than I expected for such a dark color.

Congrats on your GT500. Really wanted one of those but the bimmer was the only practical choice for us.

Ace - glad to hear you like the color so well...I must admit I was thinking of silver or dark gray but when I saw the Monaco Blue met. in person, changing colors with the sun - I was hooked. I've had black cars and dark blue cars and for some reason I can't fathom, the dark blue just does not show near the amount of dust, spiderweb marks, etc. as a black car...whereas you'd assume it would be almost as hard to keep looking good.

Thanks for the kind words on the GT500...fun car but definitely NOT a daily driver...it's my weekend car. I noticed your 535i has the front side (amber) reflectors...I had thought those were a US DOT requirement and see that you are in Germany...I assume Germany requires them as well? Also, are they just stuck on top of the fender lip or is there an indentation where they are mounted?

Getting any sleep these days.....

I don't know...perhaps someday. Right now I'm delighted with the looks of the car just like it is. To me, it's a perfect balance of sport and luxury. Once I add the Mtech, wheels, mirrors, etc., it no longer looks luxurious to me but only sport (which is totally cool). I'm sure I'm the minority. I may change my mind the longer I'm on this forum! You guys are the greatest!

The reflectors are not required in Germany. However, since they are a US DOT requirement and my car is US spec, the reflectors are required in order to import. They are mounted in an indentation and are flush with the fender.

Not much sleep these days. Although, I'm getting more sleep than my wife so I can't complain.
