Bigjule111,
I also have installed the M5tech on my 06 530Xi. But unfortunately, some idiot ran the red light and busted my bumper. Now I have the OEM Mtech on it. If I recalled the fit for me were good, I didn't have to replace the foams or neither I have to do any trimming for the M5tech (maybe because I don't have the PDC on my car), but I do need 2 of these adapters (511178966110) and the mounting hardware (07147263759). Now I have the Mtech, I have to replace the foams, but the fitting is not as nearly good as the M5tech.

The adapters are only for the Mtech, my bad.
I got the M5tech from Umnitza. It was a good fit without any mod to it.
I don't know how the aftermarket Mtech fitting is, but my OEM Mtech still does not look right even after I replace the Mtech foams

I'm going to remove the front bumper when I get the correct parts and the new pdc sensor. Did u guys remove the headlights when removing front bumper? I did but I've read that there's no need as the 2 bolts that sit under the headlamps don't need to b removed. True?

You don't have to, but I remove the headlights for better access and easier to see what I am doing.
True, just loosen those bolts enough to remove the headlights.
