hi everyone went out and bought a 2004 bmw 530i se auto today, the guy that had it bought it from new and had some of the extras,
xeion headlights
sports seats
6 cd changer
sat nav
de chroming of the window surrounds which i hate on chrome
18" alloys
sports suspention
the sport suspention looks quiet low on the 18s how much lower is the sport suspention than the stock?
just ordered 20" m5 style wheels full m5 aero kit inc front fenders and m5 mirrors
its going into the body shop on 11th august to have that fitted and quad exhaust and painted white!!
not sure weather to go for alpine white or another white from a honda fireblade motorbike as i have been told bmw alpine white is quiet cream any suggestions?

to the Forums and Congrats on your purchase! The sport suspension is about 0.7" lower than stock. Your mods. sound great. Be sure to post up pics once completed. Looks like the mod. bug has bit you good. That is an impressive list of mods. I have never seen 20" m5 Style wheels before. Do you have any pics? Good luck on your modding. BTW, Alpine White is a AWESOME color.

Be sure and also order the correct 'foam pads' for your front bumper or the new front facia will fit slightly lower than it should. The rather noticable result is too much gap between the hood and the new piece. I knew nothing of this and wish it had been mentioned more often when discussing the M-tech Kit. No need to use washers and cut the trim yourself when it's only cost around $30 for the fitting BMW intended. I'm getting mine refitted with them as soon as I can. I'd provide a link but using my iPhone ... I learned about it yesterday in the forum's DIY section.
Enjoy your new E60 --- I LOVE MINE!!

I'm back in my office now -- here's the direct link. Lots of good info in this thread, but I'd honestly just go with the correct foam set as in post #8:

Hope this helps others as I have appreciated all of the help I have received with my own car from these great forums.
