Hi Guys,

i previously posted the question about what colour to choose between Carbon Black and Silver 535d. Well last saturday I drove to Germany to pay for a beautifull 535d Carbon Black (check out the PICTURE in the ATTACHEMENT).

I had preferred the Silver colour but chose this one cause it has almost ALL options. And after seeing it live, i am begining to love the colour.

I pick up the car tomorrow (Sat 18th june in Germany). Anyone want to come? . Its gonna be a wicked drive back home to NL ! .. I'll post my feedback after the drive home.

I test drove it last saturday anyway. I sat in the car, turned the key and the steering moved down into place and the Comfort seats 'Woke up' and Hugged me! U sit quite high - which i like. I tapped the throttle and the car WHAMMED forward. Ooops! OK lets try that again,,.only this time a bit less tapping! . There were 3 people in the car and is bolts forward like the car has no weight whatsoever! It feels solid, purposefull and amazing (my last car was an e39 530d).

I went on the highway, and by the time i had positioned myself onto the highway on the fast lane, I looked at the HEAD UP Display (Yup its got that option too!! )to decide how fast i want to start going - and i was already doing 190km\h !! Though i was only at 100 or so.

Cant wait till tomorrow !!

In the coming days i shall be giving details feedback on the ride and the LOGIC 7 and other options. Also the car will be DMS tuned soon to 334HP ! and 630NM Torque and i will do a comparison 0-60 run.

Second: is it a manual or automatic?
Third: Nice options, what do you have more? Heated seats, bluetooth preparation, 2007 model?whatever?
4th: i also came from an E39 530d and want to say i love my new one better too :): better sports package and much more room inside,...
5th: Great looking car + pictures :thumbsup:!
And last: Please update your location settings so we can see you are coming from NL, (which city?) etc. for further meetings and for help so we can recommend you some shops in your neighbourhood.

Thanks for the welcome. the 535d come in AUTOMATIC ONLY cause they dont have a manual gearbox that can handle the TORQUE ! haha i love that statement :)

By the way Guys,..over the coming few weeks,.. i am going to ADD the following to my car:

1. Change Leather to AUBURN or TERRACOTTA
2. Change Back bumper to M5 bumper + quad exhausts
3. Add M5 grill to side fender
4. Buy a Hard Disk Video Player and hook it up to the IDrive Display
5. Tune it @ DMS to 334HP & 630NM Torque
6. 20 Inch Wheels

Damn, what could you have more? (maybe foldable rear seats, aanhangerkoppeling,...)
What about the price and km's? Would like to know that once since i doubt about getting a second hand from Deutschland :).

What about changing front grills to chrome ones?
