February 2006 5 Series U.S. Sales Report

Sales of 4,153 5 Series this February is a 9.5% increase over the 3,794 units sold last February. YTD sales of 8,834 5 Series was up some 24.9% over the same period of 2005.
By way of comparison sales of the Mercedes-Benz E Class totaled only 2,310 units this month; down 11.0% when compared to February, 2005. YTD sales of the MB E Class totaled 4,775 units, down 10.3% from the same two months of 2005.
Please note that I report only the United States sales data.

My Ride: #1: 2004 545i; 6-speed manual; Sport Package; Mystic Blue with a gray leather interior and Anthracite wood; CWP; Logic 7.
#2: 2010 535xi Touring; Automatic.
There are a lot of M5s getting pumped onto the market. Wish I had one. Not exactly rare, at almost 10% of the unit sales.

In the UK only the lucky few get V8's or V10's.
