The corners of the front bumpers are to damn low! (at least on pre lci non m-tech) I have f'd mine up so many times it's ridiculous. Maybe I'm just an idiot and can't drive? Idk but many I see also have this problem. I was comparing mine to an e39 and the corners are way higher.

I'm sick of getting my bumpers painted, so sick in fact I think it's time for an M-tech kit

Mine as well....

I have not had this problem but I have M Tech. Sounds like you should too.

I think this is more likely the problem than a flawed design....not the idiot part. I'm not trying to be an ass...but I've had mine 2 years and NEVER once hit a curb or scratched the bumper...and it's the stock LCI bumper. Just pay more attention to what your doing. OTOH....maybe it's just your subconscience working you towards the M-tech...

Hardly a fatal flaw but I don't understand why the RHD e60s as sold in the UK still have the wipers configured for LHD cars (leaving a small uncleared area of windscreen on top right of driver's area of vision). Surely a ?35,000+car could do with a small RHD wiper setup.

M-Tech front bumper covers are lower yet! I have M-Tech and sport suspension.

Do not park over or at curbs. Stop *before* reaching curb. When approaching speed bumps/ramps:

1) Approach at angle if possible
2) Approach at speed that allows you to release brake pedal just before contact; using the brakes reduces front ground clearance.
