Mods will help some, as would a Sprint Booster. Don't expect miracles. Have you tried sport mode from the transmission? That will hold the gears longer and let the motor get into its power.
EDIT: re-reading your post, you do use M1. Do you let the engine rev? Do you brake torque it at all? Hold the brake, rev it to 2k or so, and release the brake while flooring it, is your best bet for a jump off the line.

You might want to request the hp/torque curves/dyno charts from Singh - if they've ever done a 525. This will give you a great deal of info on how the remap will affect your real-life acceleration.
