Farewell BMW-- welcome Audi A8
Thanks for your comments guys. I agree the A8 is more plush and softer than the 545 it replaces but REALISTICALLY it can handle just about anything you can throw at it responsibly (at least in US). BTW, the other "daily driver" is a Carrera 4S I bought a few months ago, so that really fills my "sports car" requirement. Don't get me wrong, the 5er is an awesome car but the philosophy (ie driving dynamics, size, price) has changed over the years to a somewhat different kind of car. Evolution is guess some people may call it... No forum as good as this one on either front (Audi or Porsche)-- nothing comes close to the quality and people on this forum. I will keep checking from time to time-- I too am looking forward to the F10 5 series maybe down the road... never say never.

Nice backyard, congrats
To be honest just before buying my E60 I was considering A8 for some time but E60 suits my age better (27) and I love BMW so the decision process wasn't hard at all. A8 is a great car, but it's more 7-series rival that 5er.

I know the comment regarding A8-- I am 33 yo and driving the new car makes me feel more "mature"... The lady at the bank told me I was "growing up".... Thought it was kinda funny. Gotta grow up sometime I guess

I like the S5 very much. Fab interior. That said, I think the exterior design is alittle bland for this much heralded car. The interior though is simply stunning, I can say enough. If given the choice, I'd get 335 loaded. Or get a Cayman.
