The factory amp in the trunk isn't being powered on anymore by the radio due to coding issues which cannot seem to be resolved. Is there any way I can tap into it and power it on from another source? I have another aftermarket amp for the highs in he trunk also btw.

coding issues? then reverse what was done. everything can be changed with the 'know how"
the gauge on the wire going into the amp should really meet the source. So if your remote wire is working then just run the same gauge wire to the battery. But I doubt this is your issue, I assume your CCC or MASK is not putting out signal period to go to the amp. Everything can be resolved.
