Hi Guys, I'm a new owner of a 2009 535xi. Love the power, can't wait to mod that soon to really get the boost up. My real quesiton is I purchased the deal with no Logic 7, does anyone know how many watts the factory amp has if it has any. Needs some bass, and was thinking of changing the factory subs to the 8in SWS Earthquakes. Has anyone done this?

A simple fix is to add an amp and a sub in the trunk. I installed a 10 with a small apline amp using instructions I found on this site. The system sounds so much better and the bass problem is gone!

 

There's a lot of into on this site to add an amp and sub or subs....yes the sound system does pretty much suck logic 7 or not. DEFINITELY not like the HK days Now that was decent sound.

 

Trying to stay away from installing the sub in the trunk and replace the ones under the seat. Trying to figure out if I add the subs, will it sound better with the factory amp.

Can I add the L7 amp to get more bass, trying to figure out my options. Trying to stay factory as possible.

 

A lot of people replaced their underseat subs with new ones. There was a little modification needing to be done to fit. I believe they used the same amp. Look in the DIY section. A lot of info there.
