Anyone know if the "aero kit" element of the facelift (esp front bumper/fogs) will have a facelift incarnation?

Though the M5 looks exactly like the old one it's not likely it will be any changes for the M-Sport. Just as it were for the E39.

The Sales Manager at my local dealership confirmed that the MSport package is still an orderable option for March Production forward.

I would suggest the impact on the aero components would be minimal to none. I don't think the headlights have changed in size so the bumper cut outs would not be different. Aside from the LED's, no external changes would likely be involved to an Msport equiped E60/61.

Was I dreaming or did I read somewhere that the fogs were different with the facelift?

So. Memo to myself.

Get the M Sport aero kit.

Get some nice wheels.

Get the car sprayed deep down ocean sea watery blue.

Get DMS'd.

Make do without the ergonomicy inside.

Chuck some LEDs on the back.

Hmmmm.... wait for the F10 (and some of the above)....

They certainly appear to be different visually, perhaps they went to a higher intensity (whiter) light.

IIRC, the fogs in the MSport are a different size than the fogs in the standard E60 so some minor changes in the facelifted models may be included.

So the inference is that there will be a "Facelift M Sport front bumper/fog combo"...??

Does the M sport pack included with the sport package? or is it still a seperate option as before?

With the changes to the kidney grills and the fogs, I would bet that the post face lift MSport bumper is a different part number than the current MSport bumper.

The big question is "could these be retro-fitted onto a legacy SE"?
