Have to disagree; I think it looks amazing. Ok, it is perhaps a little more conservative in its lines than the outgoing M5, but just looks more grown up and sophisticated yet adding another dimension with regards to aggression.
Having recently driven over 1,500 miles in the new X6M, which shares the same V8 4.4 powerbeast under the bonnet, erm hood, I just can not wait for the F10 M5. The power will be tweaked and power to weight ratio will exceed that of the X6M. Wow! And as for the upcoming M6, which will squeeze even more out of the 8 pots, this will trouble upcoming 911's (998's) I am sure!
Hats off to you M Division!

My Ride: Black 2006 BMW 530i with sport and prem package, staggered 124 wheels, 50% tint, AC Schnitzer aluminum pedals, black interior w/ alum trim set, M style body kit and sound upgrade: Alpine PDX-5, PXE-H660, sub, MBQuart speakers.
It's nice and I like it, but it looks like a 4-door M3. It has no distinctive feature like the E60.
I think the E60 looks way more modern and advanced in its design. The progression should have been E39 --> F10 --> E60.
