Thumbs up

As the topic says can they be turned off and isolated by a reprogramme? Personally I don't like them and as an aside I thought (for the uk at least?) fixed amber lights were illegal??

No, they go with the parking and normal lights, I'm afraid.

And, please, do not go messing with the wires!

PS.
What comes to "earths enema entry points", it seems that you have to clean up your act
and writing and travel some more from the great group of islands you live on.

Ref the eybrows. There was a thread on here not so long ago where (I think) the lights had been disabled after an update, but I'm not sure what system it refered to (MOST/ M-ASK)???
Great group of islands.....yeah right! once upon a time maybe.
I new that would elicit a response sooner or later, anyway I have moved a few miles (Km's) away so I can now get the car off the street and have been lucky so far not to get it 'keyed'

If you have the lights switch in the 'off'-position and the DRL-option in the i-menu ticked; only angel eyes and no eyebrows will be on.

it is also illegal to drive to fast? whichmost bmw drivers will happen. anyway i like the eyebrows but that is just my taste. i know volvo also have this orange lights in the side of the cars as well as truck trailers. But anyway i think the police should be more busy with the real criminals instead of bothering bmw drivers. it is also illegal to have this folie in the front side windows i asked the police about it here in my town. they said: as long as we can see you we dont have any problems with it. Only the yearly car check up ladies has problems with the folie. it is a strange with to many rules world. soon i go to this yearly check up with my car ill see what they say about this eyebrows. elseiwil just turn them off for a momemt and turn them on again when driving away. someone posted a handy hint to do that

anyway enjoy ur ride without eyebrows.
