extended lights package retro-fit???

My Ride: (UK) Bulit: Feb 2004, 520i (M54), 6-Speed Manual, Black leather, Titanium Silver, Bi-Xenon, Headlamp washers, Side rear airbags, Park Distance Control, Aluminium trim, Standard Climate Control, 17" wheels, Pirelli P-Zero Rosso's, Spacesaver Spare wheel, Jack, Dynamic drive, Service Inclusive, Chrome grills, Software version 20.01.00, E60.net Clings, Painted wheel hubs silver
hey, does anybody think it is possible to retrofit this option? i mean surly its just a case of punching out all the places where lights should be and connecting them up to the wires behind?? i really wish i had ordered this, its so dark in scotland over winter that it would come in handy. thanks

Your right. It would have been a good option to go for and I wish I had specified it when I ordered my car.
Re retrofit I guess it depends on whether or not the wiring is in place.

What of the ELP were u thinking of retrofitting? Footwell lights? Door handle and door bin ambient red lights? Boot light?

The LED in the mirrors:
The black frame round the mirror with led outled is needed. Also 2x LED. In germany 200 Euro - about 230 USD i guess.
The wiring is not there the door modul is prepared for the wireing.
The ambient lightning:
Somene who did the hole retrofit told me, there are outlets in the panel, so you only have to go to the plastic on this place.
No wireing i guess but no problem, steel it from the power window switch.
The foot lamps
No wireing, no idea.
The door lamps rear doors:
No wireing i guess, no idea.
The lamp in the trunk:
No wireing no idea.
So I will go for the ambient and the mirror LEDs.

I wish I'd ordered the extended lights
If it was easy to retrofit, I'd do it. Looks like it's not a case of just gettings the lights. If the wiring isn't there, I wouldn't want to go hacking the wiring harness.

You need to make a connection from these LEDs in the mirror to the door module. On that there are connectors esspecialy for those LEDs so no hacking the original wireing.
Only thing is to remove the door panel and changing the black frames in the mirror.
