Default Everything all at once...

I have a 2009 528xi that seems to have decided to start having multiple problems just before it's 4th birthday (at 58k miles). Took it into the dealer today and am looking at:

I hope this isn't a sign of things to come now that the warranty is expired.

Take it to an Indy shop. there is no reason to do any of those things at the stealership...

Are there any recommendations as to tires I could replace the two with? Their price doesn't look too far off from market for the particular model they're installing, but I can't find that model at most places.

Also, any reason I'd need to replace all four if I was replacing them with a different tire?

What do they come with standard? I'm assuming you have 17" wheels? For that price you may be able to get all 4 from tirerack.com. I wouldn't recommend mixing them.

Personally I would call an Indy shop that specializes in BMWs and list what you need replaced and you'll probably save a big chunk of $. Don't mention what the dealership wants to charge you until you hear their price.

They're the Continental ContiTouringContaqct 225 50R17 94V tires. I've looked at some other brands and models, but wasn't sure what I'd go with to replace them. All season tires are pretty good for me, because we don't get much snow/ice around here, but we do get some.

??? Is this for micro processor module? I thought they relocated that in the 2005 or 06 models?

Yes, that is what they moved. They put it in the rear equipment bay instead of under the spare tire. I'm assuming they weren't lying about its location.

What I meant was if your car is 2009, it should have been away from the spare tire from the factory.
