I was talking about the AC Schnitzer chip for the 530d.

Have all the top extras but the HUD.
Have pre wiring for Prof Nav.
Payed ?98000 for it.
Notice the shadowline and the sports steering whell, they make a diference.
Thinking of getting a performance chip from ACS when its available in Portugal.

Did you checked with the BAVIERA guys in Faro if the chip it's available?
Try the SCONRADO people in Porto. They use to do it lots of times in the 320d/330d, 520d/525d/530d E39, and i was told they were doing it by now.

525d vs 525i ?
What do you think about it?
Tho top speed of the 525i it's superior (238km/h against 230km/h).
But the 525d is faster in ordinary driving (4th, 5th, 6th / 80km/h-120km/h).
Consumption?? diesel takes the cup....

And what do you think of the 540d?
258 PS, 600 Nm/1900 rpm
Breyton tuns it to 305 PS, 690 Nm ........

Yup.... Tuga is 100% right 
.. here in Portugal cars are too expensive.. My dad?s E61, we think it will cost about the same as Tuga?s 530d, only it?s a 525d (assuming that the 525d will cost the same as the 525i, like it happens with the 530d/530i).. but I haven?t understand.. how can a car with less horses, 530d, outbeat the 530i, which has more ?? will the 525d be better than the 525i ??
