Hi All,

Well, I finally order my 530i, ED, delivery July 18th . It seems like having the Euro Nav Disk is a "must have". However, paying $160 for one trip seems unreasonable. Is there anybody willing to sell or loan me the disk. It would be MUCH appreciated! If not, I guess I'd have to fork out the $160 (what a scam!) Thank you.

I sold mine after its first use for $100 last year. But you might also try these guys, since they have a section on European delivery.

I have 2004-2. I'll sell it for a very reasonable/competive price. Make me an offer.

Use Emule and search for 2005-2, Navteq, Navtech, or e60 and sort by size. You'll find the euro one there. As for the USA one... I'm still searching. It's rediculous that we have to pay for updates on a 65k car, let alone pay over $200 bux for it. This should be included in the regular maintence IMHO.

Perhaps BMW thinks if you can aford a $65k car, you can aford $200 every couple of years (if not even less than take) ...

... perhaps BMW is making it easy for your family/friends to know what to buy you for gifts (someone how has everyone)

My complaint isn't so much as to the cost of the US Nav Disks since that would be used daily. It's the fact that for ED, it's a one time deal for many people. Why couldn't they loan or rent a disc at Munich instead of sell a disk for $160?

I've never found anything like that on emule. I've tried searching, but with no joy. Any ideas?
