I got a call from the shop manager today and the estimate as of today is a little over $26K. He needs to look over a few more things and will have the final estimate completed and sent to AllState on Monday. He did state that if repairs were done, it would take a few days to get the parts (I would expect longer) and about 30 days to complete the repairs (which sounds a little too good to be true to me). As of now, the estimate stands at about 50% which falls pretty short of the 80% "needed" to total as per AllState on a new vehicle.
Thoughts? Suggestions? At the very least... there is some progress.
My 545 had similar damage to your car in May 07. There is no way that your body shop can fix your car for that amount of money according to BMW specs. The body shop is just low balling it to get the job. Also are they a BMW certified body shop?

Based on previous posts, his car is at a BMW approved shop.
