Hi All!

my first error message on my 08,

"Window Anti-Trap Function"

popped up, went to the dealers, they reset everything, car was good for 3 days, came back on, had it reset, car was good for 3 days, and came back on again today!

what could be the problem!?

I noticed that there is a rattle on my rear passenger side window, could that be it!? car is new! and has 4000 miles!

i had the same problem theres a SIB out for that. they replaced the window motor and a few clips and now it gone! just tell them about it.

Regarding the rattle, had it in my car as well. Thanx to a few threads I found in here via searching...figured out it was my parcel shelf. I had to print out the threads from this forum and show them to my SA and tech to get them to look at it after 2 attempts on their own to fix it. They took off my parcel shelf, wrapped the clips that attach it to the rear defrosters and the noise was gone

Regarding the error message, I would hope your SA and techs would take a closer look at your e60 as a simple reset isn't fixing anything but their laziness being disturbed
