Try a search! I know that I have read about this somewhere...although it is a matter of personal taste.
The EQ settings controls, from left to right: Bass...Mid...High
With std stereo you can only control Bass and Treble.

I thought the L7 sound system got the 13 band EQ (It did on mine).
The L7 just gives you two different sound stages (should have been more)
As for EQ settings, its solely up to personal preference.
