If its been in 3 or more times for the same problem, you can lemon the car.

Some states you are reimbursed lawyers fees.

Vandal1x, I'm in the same boat as you are. I haven't spoken to anyone yet but will likely have to.

BTW, for my knowledge, what does the dealership have to do with this; I mean are they not just a middle man/dealer?

Who else is going to take care of this issue if not the dealership from whom you purchased the car? I would say it's their obligation to represent BMW and all issues associated with your ride. If nothing more, it's their job to be the liaison between you and NA after they conclude they cannot fix your car.

in california the lemon law lawyer doesnt charge you,it charges the dealer for their fees.so im goint to see if they want to do this without having extra fees.i have had a lemon before(dodge magnum)and i got all the money i put down on the car and all my payments from when the problem first started, and the dealership had to pay the lawyer fees.or you could have them give you a new car with the same loan.the lawyers are able to do this becuase if you dont have a case they wont take you on.

Now this is an old discussion. There's no right answer to this one. Some folks just love the torque of a V-8 and others like the idea of being able to chip the 535 turbos to over 370HP. Gas will be better with the 535i. Go drive one and see if you can feel the difference.
