Engine Malfunction!!
Started my car this morning and everything was running fine. About 30 minutes later I get an Engine Malfunction sign on the dash and idrive system. I pulled over turned the car off and restarted and it was gone. I noticed when I pushed the gas pedal down more than 50% that message showed up. So I scanned the DME and these are the codes it gave me.........
2D1B Acceleratorpedal module, pedal sensor signal 1
2D1C Acceleratorpedal module, pedal sensor signal 2
2D1F Acceleratorpedal module, pedal sensor potentiometer, signal
Is this a DIY fix? I believe im still under warranty so should I just take it in? I have JB4 installed should I remove it before taking it in or would leaving it on map 0 be ok?
I appreciate any help! Thanks!

Heres the deal with the JB4, if you are in MAP O, more than likely they will not detect it as they can read the codes an probably have no reason to open the e-box. if you are out side of MAP 0, they can't read and there next step will be to open the E box to see why...
If you can remove the JB4, then that is your best solution, otherwise its a big risk! What you don't want to happen is that they try and blame the problem on your JB4. The dealer could tell you to come collect your un-repaired car and charge the a diagnoses fee. This happen to me once. Dummy here left it in map 1 !!! Dealer called me and asked about the added software, of course I acted like I didn't know what they were talking about. They told me that they documented everything with photos etc and can show mw when I arrive. They also said before they can work on the car the software has to be removed. I went home and removed it and took it to another dealer and had car repaired. As far as I can tell, the situation is not documented in any records as I've never had this discussion again. The car is not in warranty except for the turbos. So if you can remove the JB4 yourself, this will always be your best option. It might save you from a BIG headache.

Check your JB4 wiring again. Sounds like you may have a pin that's either bent or pushed in and making intermittent contact. Oh, and NEVER bring in your car for any warranty-related work with the JB4 still installed. Don't trust your warranty to Map 0 -- it only takes 3-4 minutes for a dealer to remove the cowl and pop the cover off the DME box and find it.

I think I am gonna remove it when I take it in. Definitely gonna check all the cables when I plug it back in because I had an issue before when one of the connecters were backwards.
