My Ride: 04 545i silver grey, 6spd, comfort seats, L7, sport, cold weather, rear heated seats

The dealer swapped out my radio and in the process they experienced an electrical shortage. What kind of memory should have been lost with the shortage? All my AM/FM presets were lost, but my SAT presets were fine. My bluetooth also recognized as if nothing happened. My memory seat positions were also lost. However, my homelink still worked. Basically, I'm asking if this shortage story was a cover up as to why this dealer, Apple BMW of York, had my car for ten days. They also put some scratches on my front fender, but won't admitt it...pictures to follow...

Hmmmm sounds like the service department failed to follow rule #1 ... when working on electronics, disconnect battery!
