My Ride: SOLD...Jet Black 2008 550i M Sport with SAT, black interior. RPI exhaust and air scoop, 35% huper optik tint all around, CF roundels, flat black kidneys, Springfield Armory XD-40 jet black in glove box, charcoal filter removed.
Very nice.

Nappa leather is softer than dakota. It does age a little less nicely however.
For the pics, I only used the normal interior lights of the car, in an otherwise pitch dark garage. Camera on "gorillapod", allows for placement flexibility (hung to the headrest pillars, f.e.). Self timer at 2s so camera is steady when the shutter opens, probably for a second or so given the little amount of light. Camera flash off.
The above tips (no flash + tripod) will improve a lot of pics, BTW
That said, interior car pics are notoriously difficult, I was surprised myself at how good these came out
