Default Eccentric shaft sensor

Two Questions BMW Drivers;

How long does it take to replace the eccentric shaft sensor on a e60 5 series with the N52 engine? An Hour?

And, would an Aftermarket non-oem eccentric shaft sensor do the trick, or will the computer throw fault codes if you dont use the OEM brand?

Thank you for any responses!!!

This DIY looks pretty good:
Eccentric Shaft Sensor Replacement

I wouldn't put any part of this type on that isn't genuine BMW or from the BMW OEM who made the part originally for BMW.
