I dont have comforseats... but I have it in mine... I dont think its a comfort seat thing...
Those of you that dont... try lowering your wheel and then shutting off the engine.

Less you use it the less chances it breaks.
P.S. Mine is not set all the way up. I use it.

Yes, the feature is standard without comfort seats in North America. The 'extra' that comes with comfort seat are the backrest 'flaps' opening during exit.
Great feature, pretty cool also!!

Hi! Forgive the ignorance, but I am trying to figure out if I have this feature or what. My car does not seem to do anything when I stop and get out (raise the steering wheel, push back the seat.
I have the following options in the iDrive:
Convenience mode
1. Open the driver's door after unlocking or turn the ignition key to position 1
2. Briefly press the desired memory button 1 or 2.
The system immediately cancels the adjustment procedure when you press one of the seat adjustment buttons or use one of the memory buttons. When the respective last driver's seat, exterior mirror and steering-wheel position is called up can be set for each key.
Control Center, for principle details, refer to
page 16:
1. Open the menu
2. Select "Vehicle settings" and press the controller
3. Select "Door locks" and press the controller
4. Select "Central locking" and press the controller
5. Select "Last seat position" and press the controller
6. Select "After unlocking" or "After door is opened" and press the controller.
I have selected "after unlocking". The guide is not clear about what the car is SUPPOSED to do. I expected what you guys have described, but all i can get it to do is move to the preset seat and wheel positions when using the two diferent keys.
I cannot get it to give me easy exit (wheel up, seat back) and then easy entry.
The manual also says:
Automatic steering wheel adjustment
In conjunction with seat, mirror and steering wheel memory.
The steering wheel automatically moves as high up and far forward as possible to ease driver entry and exit before then returning to the standard position or stored memory setting.
This automatic feature is governed by the driver's door and the ignition lock.
Can SOMEONE tell me what the last sentence means??? It don't do it. Is the seat supposed to slide back also as the wheel raises?
Thanks... i did RTFM
