E61 Electronic System Malfunction
Hi, so the car first had a faulty SGM which i got fix then i disconneted the battery (only Negative terminal) and did some welding on the exhaust cuz else i wouldnt get TÜV ( i live in germany) after i was done i connected the battery, first time since i changed the SGM airbag module and it started going crazy.
Electronic System Malfunction. Continued driving is not Possible was the error message, i thought ok ill just hook up my Bosch tester to see what error message it is. Wipers going crazy and i cant control them, ABS, DSC and Handbrake light are on, height sensor malfuction, no RPM visble in the cluster, no horn, windows dont work. how ever Seathating is working, radio, blinkers, lights high and low beam working, the car starts perfectly fine. The alternator was replaced around 350km ago and im getting 14,5v-14,9v charging voltage when the car is running. I dont know how old the battery is but it seems to be fine. FIRST problem cant get a connection with my bosch tester which was working a few days before perfectly fine, i also checedk on another car if i can connect with the tester and i could. Went to check all Fuses in the trunk and in the glovebox and they where all good. Pulled every fuse out 1 by 1 and tested it. i googled and saw that many people where saying that there can be water build up in the spare wheel comparement the short the MPM module, i check and there wasnt any visble water or droplets yet the MPM was fired, went to get a new one today and hope that my problems would go away but they didnt. So now after spending hours on fourms and google the only thing that i can see is now the Junctionbox is faulty. Does anyone have any other ideas or could tell me how i can test the Junctionbox? Car: E61 530D 2004 Thankyou in advance :) |
