I come down here every few weeks for work, but noticed these last few days that there are A LOT of E60's in the area. Most are even 550 Sports, both LCI and Pre. All are stock, but still very impressive.

Good to see Atlanta peeps are into the 5 series.

I was over there a couple of weeks ago and noticed the same thing.....I was going down one of the freeways and I saw 5-6 e60's spread out across the lanes going the same direction. There's a pretty high volume dealer over there...instead of a typical parking lot they have a 4-5 story parking garage with their inventory

Welcome to my world Surrounded by those damn things all the time.

Interesting stat learned on the Fifth Gear program when they tested the F10 .... The 5 series contributes more than 50% of BMWs profits all by itself.

Yeah, I live in Atlanta too and I do see a lot of E60s but I see very few that are modded and I have yet to find a BMW car club (other than BMW CCA). I did manage to find a decent suspension shop where they understand BMWs but I have been through two mechanic shops that were supposed to "Specialize" in German cars and I ended up just wasting a lot of money. I mostly end up asking you guy's for advise and doing the work myself. In my opinion Atlanta has a long way to go in before I consider them "into" the BMW culture.

Yep, and im contributing to the e60 Atlantans. Most indy shops that Ive heard of are on the NW side of town. Im on the NE side and there just doesnt seem to be much over this way as far as indy shops. My younger brother is a Benz tech at RBM North in Alpharetta and he gets a wholesale discount at United BMW (NE side of town) so I have access to parts at a reasonable cost. It helps that Ive convinced him to give a beamer a shot. He picked up a 6 speed 540i very cheap several months ago and he loves it. There are plenty of e60's to go around in atlanta though, there is no reason why this place shouldnt be an enthusiast BMW hub. But for whatever reason it isnt right now...

I'm in Atlanta too. This place is still E30 and E36 heaven. There are a couple of good indy shops but as said more on the northside.
I'm up for a meet if I am not working.
