Does anyone know if the ride height on an e60 xi model will be higher than its real wheel drive counterpart?

Do xi models in general have a higer ride height?

On the German website it says:

Xdrive cars are coming with 225/50 R 17 W instead of 225/55 R 16 W and the total height of the Xdrive equipped cars is higher.
Regular E60's have 1468mm (1.47 m), while cars with Xdrive have 1482mm (1.48 m). So, Xdrive cars are 1.4 cm higher and have bigger wheels.

Do you think the gap between wheel and fender will be "clearly" more noticeable or no? Im plannig on keeping Style 128 wheels (19") during the warmer months. Do you guys think it will look funky or no?

Very similar to the 2006 E90 ride height difference with xi, which is less noticeable that the previous E46 330 vs. 330xi difference of over 3 cm, as I recall (too much for my preferences).

Yep.
I agree.

But it's hard to say, before you haven't seen it in person, and I haven't seen it in person yet...

I may have misinterpreted your comment, but have never the e90 xi models been released?

Like Iceman said, I guess we will just have to see it in person... I will post pics immediately when I take delivery of my new baby... Mid-End of June!

Thanks alot guys!

In the meantime if anyone has pics of a 530xi with different wheels (OEM or Aftermarket) please post or link me... thanks again!
