Each year Autoweek collects information from daily drivers to rate and rank all different models on the dutch market.
In the executive class (E-segment) the BMW E60 was the winner this year.
Translation
Above average:
Engine/roll noise
Image
Transmission
Ride quality
Performance
Lower than average:
Standard equipment
Price/performance
Repair frequency
Ergonomics
Keeping value
Overall winners were mainly Japanese cars as usual (IMO: Old technology, dull cars, nothing can go wrong)

Here here!
He proved prophetic... having said two things that were absolutely true.
1) Upon hearing criticism of the new 5 back in 2003, he boldly stated that "people love it, they just don't know it yet"
2) He said that the E60 would usher in a new design language, and be the basis of auto design for years to come.
Who can honestly argue with either of these statements now?

+1, the car on the pic is 520i or 520d (no chrome grills).
