Hello,
I have 2004 E60 525i. This morning I started the engine, then the windshield wipers keep moving and not stop. The display show the message "Windshield wiper fault". I checked the wiper switch stick, and it was in the "off" position. I switched off the engine & turned it back on again, but the wipers still moving. What would the the cause? and how to fix it?
Thank you very much in advance. :-)

Could be rain sensor or switch. You need to read the codes to see what the car is telling you. INPA on a laptop with K/d CAN cable will assist. The program you can find on various sites for download
