E60 Transmission
 

Hi everyone! I own a 04 530i and according to all records from BMW the transmission fluid has never been changed! I'm currently at 141,000 miles and so far the car runs very well! The question I have is under hard acceleration on the highway I will hit random transmission failsafe errors when this happens the engine revs high so I pull over turn off the car and turn it back on and the car is fine. .. so I know something is wrong just I'm not sure if it's too late to change my fluid. What do you guys think?

It's never too late to change fluid, and you likely have more going on than just dirty fluid. see DIY section for 6HP19 info.
