E60 tire question
Guys and gals, Can I get your opinion on a tire size for an E60? Looking to replace the tires on my 2004 BMW 525i. We put a set of Beyern Mesh 18 x 8's on the car with 235/40/18's previously. Looking to replace the tires with either a 45 or 50 series. (same width)
Question being is there enough wheel well clearance to go with the 50's without any rubbing? Just looking for optimal comfort and lowest possible road noise (this is a daily driver for the wife)
Secondly, any reccomendations on a quiet middle of the road tire....not looking to spend the $$ for Michelins but not going for a no name either...
Thanks in advance for any thoughts / opinions.

MS tires roll softer and are more quiet, but the absolutely best option is a set of non-RF Michelin PS2's 245/40.
You are not getting cheap on you wife, are you???
