Default E60 Suspension

I have a 2004 545i with 67k miles. i feel like the car is lower than it should be because the shocks are wore out. Do you guys recommend getting an aftermarket set up or buy the OEM shocks? I wouldnt mind my ride being a little lower but i just dont want my ride to be to rough.

shocks/struts dont lift the car. they only dampen movement. worn shocks done lower the car. worn shocks result in a more bouncy ride.
springs are what hold the car up. shocks just control how they bounce.

Yes you can, however you've mentioned that your struts are worn out. Replacing the springs on worn out struts is a very bad idea. Best option is a spring and strut combo/coil over system.
