E60 subwoofer
Since I've installed the Dension I notice that the standard speakers are really bad for bass.
Are there any ways to add a discrete sub in the car, somewhere hidden?
Not one of those half the boot gone type of subs though.

You may know, but Logic 7 Premium sound has one sub-woofer under each front seat. There may be mounting locations already in those locations...
Yeah I know, just wondering how much work is involved into fitting some there with no precabling.
Has anyone gone installed those from standard audio?
Any coding necessary? Shouldn't be right?
How about an aftermarket one that can fit under the front seats also?

Your car will have speakers there too wired in parallel with the front door speakers. Read a thread in my signature for a start in case you want to go down the after market route.
Hi Bruce
Yes I had a gander at your thread already, just wasn't sure if I had anything under the seats.
I don't have hifi system so no amp/wiring in the boot and a plug and play solution doesn't seem possible except for the BSW kit (which I don't think comes with the under the seat subs anyway)
So you're saying even basic sound comes with subs under each seat? They must be absolutely horrible, bass is very muddy.
Is there anything that is plug and play for those to give a better bass?
Do 2 x earthquake sws-8 fit in there? Or do you know of a sub that would be easy to connect (rather not remove oem plugs/cut any wires/cut the housing)
Thanks.

I have fitted Logic 7 midranges/tweeters in the front doors/rear shelf and the sound is soo much better.
Just wondering are the hi fi under-seat subs straight swappable with the stereo ones? Or just like the L7 subs they are wired to the amp instead of parallel as the stereo ones?
Anyone tried installing HIFI subs to STEREO system?
