Hey guys

I have an 2005 E61 530i and thinking about swapping out the executive style steering wheel for a M Sport steering wheel from a 2007 E60 540i.

Question is, is everything a basic plug and play swap in terms of wiring for the airbag and button connections between the two wheels? Would anything need to be coded especially in terms of the airbag?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you

If your car productio ndate was before 09/05 then you cant fit the steering wheels from those produced afterward. BMW ussed a different column and wiring for those manufactured post Sep05
