How to do it?
Tilt the mirror all the way towards the car then just pull out? Or is there a special way?

That's right you just pull the mirror and it should pop out. Just be aware that the mirror is wired if its electrochromatic and/or heated.

Warning- dont do it if its too cold, the mirror/clip at back can break...., also, you may find using a wide piece if thick plastic as a lever helps it pop off

Ok it is a bit cold now so won't try right away, 5C and yes they are heated.
I have one of those plastic pry tools for the interior trim, should help a bit.

Thanks.

I learned how to do this because someone almost sideswiped me last year, our mirrors hit and the glass hung by the wires. I was really happy to see it just popped straight back in.
