Can anybody help me out? I was wondering if you can install m5 e60 parts onto a 545i e60?

Too broad a question with no specifics.

What year M5? What kinds of parts?
There are many parts that would be common to both a 545i and an M5, but typically not key engine, suspension or brake parts.

Pull up this website, enter both cars' info and check part numbers from one car to the other for a match.

I would be EXTREMELY careful getting parts from an 06 and up M5 for your 05 or 04 545i. There was a large wiring change after Sept 05 that makes many parts incompatible made before or after that.

It might fit, but I doubt it would be electrically compatible, but check the numbers on realoem.com.

Truthfully, that seems like way more trouble than it's worth. There a member here that just did a swap from the regular auto tranny to the sport auto tranny and he's having to change electronic info just to get the car to shift into anything of than limp mode, which is just a failsafe mode. You might also have to swap over to an M5 speedometer, not sure just saying. Anyway here's the thread about the link to the thread. Hopefully whoever's doing the tranny swap knows exactly what's being talked about in that thread, if not, I would run.

Will the 10-cylinder transmission flange even mount up the the 8-cylinder engine? As written above, you'll have to do a boat load of coding to make this work.
