hey again, so about last week, when my car was parked in a residential area, I went home without noticing something in my car until I arrived home and parked it inside the garage and got out. My front stock bumper is missing that front tow hook cover!. If anyone with a e60 titanium grey 06/07 model has a spare tow hook cover from their stock ones' because you put the mtec kit on it, (Front Bumper) please let me know if you still need it and how much you want for it!; although free is always a +!!! :'( <_< If you would bring it to the 6th socal meet if your comming that would be greatly appreciated. If not and your out of state or city, I will be more than happy to pay for shipping.

Sorry about your loss. I'll sell ya my Silver Grey Metallic one for $1500, that way I have enough to buy the Hamann front bumper. I'll even throw in free shipping.

there is one thing about this that I always don't understand....

if someone has already enough money to buy an E60 why would he buy stolen or even stole himself a stupid piece of plastic of 10$????? this is ridiculous..... oh well, seems like there are some weird E60 owners as well )
you see what I mean..... I can't believe someone with E60 would get stolen parts....

It's human nature. Doesn't matter how wealthy people are, there are always some who will be so stingy that they would prefer to pilfer someone else property rather than go through the small expense and hassle of aquiring there own. I'm sure the person who did it also got a kick out of stealing... a lot more fun than going to a dealer and ordering a replacement.

You also have to remember that when you a buying a car, the costs of options etc. is so high you easily end up losing touch with reality and such extravagances as ventilated leather comfort seats for almost ?10,000 seem a reasonable addition (but you would never pay that much for a fine leather sofa in your living room). When the reality distortion of purchasing an expensive car is over most people will return to their natural state of stinginess. Also remember that many people are wealthy in the first place because by nature they are quite stingy (with only occasional and measured extravagances).

Are you so sure someone took it?

My M-Tech kit has periodically lost parts while driving. Namely the small, square plastic grill mesh peices which go in each side of the center section. (I think they are officially called Right & Left Trim on the parts catalog. Has happened twice now. I guess I just hit a bump on the road or something, and they pop out.
