I did ED on May 3 and dropped off in Paris May 6, cars was shipped on may 17 and arrived in New Jersey on May 28, it is scheduled to arrive at the VPC in South Carolina today and then to my dealer between the 10 and 15 of June.
The first 3 weeks of waitin went by fast, but now I am very impatient.

Still waiting...man, this is the worst torture I've ever been subjected to. Watching this board helps, especially when Dr D and FF get their cars and post pics of their beautiful rides (thanks for sharing guys).
My US spec car is scheduled to be built on week 28 (July 5th). The good news is since I'm in Germany, I'll only have a week (or ten days) to get my baby.
Until then, the days are just dragging by......T minus 39 and counting...

jonboy,
Looks like I will be waiting for a while. I will be ordering a '05 545i for Performance Center Delivery in November. Still triing to figure out all the options I want also.
At least I have this forum, and already downloaded the manual to peek through.

Ordered my 530I on May 14. The estimated production slot was around the end of June. Dealer estimated car would arrive last week of July, first week of August.
Recently, I asked for the production number to track the car's progress through the system. Well, to my surprise, the OC site says my car has been produced and awaiting transportation.
So, I wonder if the delivery date will be pulled in three weeks. (I sure hope so.)
Anybody have a feel for the cycle time from production completion to delivery to a dealer in California? Does anybody know if they are dropped off the boat in California or on the east coast and trucked/trained accross the country?
This forum has been very informative. Thanks for all the input and pictures!

On Order: 530I, Silver Gray, SP, PP, Premium Sound, Nav, PDC, Steptronic

Look at the bright side. Your ride will have the options that were not available when I ordered mine . But I know how it feels...the wait ...you will not be disappointed.

My E60 arrives on the West Coast June 16th and should be here in San Diego about a week later (or I'm hoping it will only be a week later).
I did the European Delivery which I think makes the waiting worse. I drove it for a week in Bavaria and now I'm waiting 7 weeks to drive it again. And every time I see a new 5er driving around town here I get even more anxious.

Mine should be in South Carolina now, waiting to be released to distribution. Next week will be a killer.

Mine is also at the south Carolina VPC, like MrBelk's. I really want my car here now. I hope for next weekend, but it seems that I may have to wait until the week of June 14th. Only two more weeks!!
