Thumbs up

Dont panic. My car is not overheated.

Just that both my E46+E39 has the TEMP/Gauge to measure how cold or how hot the car is. I can not find that feature on the E60. Am I missing something? <_<

Thanks

No you're not missing something.
There is no temp gauge. I think the new M5 will have it though. I've seen the 645i has a temp gauge instead of the fuel/energy gauge.

Is it a coolant temperature guage or an oil temperature guage you saw on the 6?

Traditionally, M cars have an oil temp guage in place of the silly vacuum MPG guage. I wonder what the new M5 will end up having...

I believe it was an oil temperature gauge I saw on the 6.

Guys , there is a temp. gauge on the E60, it is only hard to find ... it is on the speadometer outer rim.. if you look closer when you first start the car you will see 4-5 dashes then they will start to disapear inside the rim as the car heats up to one dash at all times (normal temp.)

cheers

The dashes inform you when you can start to rev the engine to the higher revs. Its a form of temperature gauge but not like a normal temperature gauge if you know what I mean. I've read on previous posts here that if the engine gets extremely hot, the I-Drive warning message will appear.
