Would any of you folks in the UK or the EU please give me an approximate cost for the just left and right outboard aspheric mirrors (EU standard) on a 2007 E60? My US car may come equipped from the factory with self dimming mirrors (electrochromic), or non dimming mirrors, and I'd like to know how much more the self dimming mirrors will cost to replace. I'm picking up my car in Munich, so I'll be able to get the mirrors while in Germany.

If you have electrochromic mirrors, the part number that you want for the driver's side aspheric is 51167168181. Mine cost me 282 Euros incl. VAT ($360) in Rome. This part number is good for 9/2005 production and later. I do not know the non-electrochromic part number but can advise that the number in realoem.com is for pre-9/2005 build vehicles.

I did not change out the US Spec passenger side mirror as it can be adjusted to eliminate blind spots.

BTW, the aspheric driver's side is great!!! No more blind spot.

For anyone with a pre-9/2005 production e60, I have an unused driver's side electrochromic aspheric that was ordered before anyone knew that the mirror electronics changed in 9/2005. The pre and post 9/2005 mirrors are identical in glass profile/curvature. Part number is 51167116745. Cost me $360; I will sell for $300 to a good home. Send a PM.
