Hello all...

Originally, I was told that my car was scheduled for week 8 (last week of Feb.) production. Although, I also read that the car may move from the "on order" status to the "Scheduled for Production" status about 1.5 weeks before production.

My car moved into that "Scheduled for Production" status a week ago.

Did any of see that maybe your car was originally scheduled for production a certain week, but it moved up a week or two? I'd love that.

My brother an I both had 545's in Sept of 2003 that were scheduled to be produced withing 2 days of each other. All of a sudden my got pushed to a production date 7 days earlier (both cars were identical except for interior colors). My thought was that I would get mine earlier.

However, mine took longer getting to port. mine sat in port longer. Next mine was on a ship that took two days longer to get to the US.

Bottomline, is that my car that was produced a week earlier, took 14 days longer to arrive at the same dealership. Don't read too much into the earlier production date as far as final destination arrival. It will only become somewhat predictable when the car is actually on the ship.

Mine sat waiting for transport for two weeks as well. Then the ship it is on made a few stops before the drop off port while others go to the port directly.
