Excellent pics. Looks like Colorado above 10,000 feet but if I am not mistaken, you are only at 39 feet above sea level. Beautiful scenery.
Actually my town locates about 500 feet above sea level. But the altitude here is irrelevant, we don't have mountains (Fells instead in Lapland).

Nice contrast against the cold white snow!

I remember my BMW diesel days fondly. My '86 524TD had a plug-in heater for fuel and crankcase. Is that also standard fare on the new ones delivered in cold climates?

Between that, winterized diesel fuel, and synthetic oil I never had a starting problem in the low temps here in New Jersey. But, your low temps are really really low! ... how are cold start-ups?

We have block heaters for engine oil. No start-up problems in these temperatures yet .
I have started up diesel engines in -30?C (-22?F) without pre-heating (not mine though). I know E60 would start too with some cranking, but I wouldn't do that to my baby .

Great pix, thanks for sharing. You car looks great amongst the back drop. Obviously you are not driving in a major city or you car would look like it was off roading, with all the ice slicer and splash back from other cars, car get really dirty when driving in the snow and ice here in Denver. Probably the main reason I refuse the drive mine if its snowy out...

Took some pics again today .

Great pics Anza,

The spacers seem to do great for the looks of your fine car.

But I hate the winter!
