So a couple of months ago I sold my 535D, I really really really regret it.

So im thinking of buying a used one. I just don't know if it is worth the extra cash for LCI or not?

I will be going for a 535D M-sport with as much options as possible...

In my opinion, I'd say the LCI is worth the extra money. I'm not saying the pre-LCI car isn't good, I'm just saying if I were going to buy an E60, I'd prefer the additional refinements that the LCI car provides.

get an lci; more power, better economy, better layout of dashboard and doorsides, better gearbox - get the sportsautomatic feature or install it yourself, but defintely get the LCI

If you can stretch to it go for the LCI. it is a little nicer than the pre-LCI in some areas, but IMO the autobox is soooo much better. I had a 525d before and didn't like the auto, tried the pre-lci 535d and had the same dislikes. the LCI however is smoother, 'locks' the drive at lower revs and just feels a lot better!

Also, if you find a Sport Auto (with the padles) then get that - the car really comes alive when sport mode is on!!!

LCI with SAT all the way if you can find one! I wish I had the SAT withpadfles for my vehicle. It definitely changes the driving dynamics.

Thanks.

So it looks like its worth the extra bucks for the lci.
To bad when I just found an individual pre-lci with all the equipment I want and very low milage, incl alcantara roof and leather dashboard. The price is high but your comments made me think that either they have to let the price down quite a bit or I will look for a LCI
