E60 M Aero Kit ground clearance
I'm in process of getting an Aero Kit for my 530 (2004), but I couldn't find info on ground clearance before and after (only some info on front lip).
So if someone would be so kind to measure for me his Aero Kit height from the ground in the MIDDLE of the car where the sideskirts are (not in front or rear).
I have this very steep on-ramp access to my garage so my current (low) car scrapes every time in the area under the seats.
This stock 530 that I got is fine but with this kit... you never know.
Thanks.

If you are starting up a steep on-ramp like you mentioned, how are the side skirts scraping and not the front bumper?

Great car btw.
Same thing when exiting, easy uphill then it scrapes again in the middle just before street level.

I have the BMW M aero kit on an E60 with sport suspension. I always approach and depart a ramp (up or down) at an angle. At certain intersections and parking garage ramps, I have to wait for extra clearance in traffic flow, so that I can pull out at a 45-degree angle. Those behind will just have to wait. Gotta watch out for my front bumper cover, side skirts and the polished Borla exhaust tips

That's because it goes downhill from street level. So when you enter it scrapes (and sidewalk is not leveled), but then you break to a stop at the end where it levels again.
