Kind of inline with this POLL However, some of you may very well be happy with your car, but want to try something different. My question is, what makes us loyal (even through all the headaches/problems)? What makes you go back to BMW? Why not try something different when the time comes?
I love my 5er, but when the time comes, I would more than likely consider my options again, see what is new, and not jump into the BMW 5er bandwagon blindly. If that something new is better, it would probably sway me away from BMW. What about you guys?

I'm with my second E60.
Nothing to complain about this second one.
Could go for a third one but with an other engine, maybe,
or then the new E92 could be my next car in 2007.

Yes definitely the E92 M3 is what I'm waiting for. I hope it lives up to expectations.

Wana try the next e90 m3. I am 100% satisfied with my car. It's perfect but i find myself driving 80% of the time alone...and yes i'd like a stronger petrol M power not to mention lighter car. That doesn't mean that m5 is not an option. Anyway i'm 90% sure i'll stay with bmw. 10% going to porsche.

Hi tom:
I think you needed a category for those of us who would buy another 5er given that it represents the best option, in our judgments, the next time we buy. In this regard, sorry, I didn't fit into any category given. And, then, there are those who would buy a BMW other than a 5er the next time around assuming it represents the best option at that time. Finally, there are those that who would buy another 5er or other BMW the next time around assuming their choice of BMW represents the best option at that time. Obviously, I have no loyality. I'll buy whatever looks like my best option the next time around. Personally, I can't imagine why anyone would be blindly loyal to any brand of anything.

I love my e60, and I tend to drive it for 6-7 years. But when I consider to buy my next car, I will try to buy a better one than the perious one, just a way to show myself that my financial status is getting better with age.
Hopefully my financial status can afford a 7 series or S class when I consider my next car.

I thought I would never ever say this after 20 years in BMWs, but I am simply not sure anymore.
Just too much grief with my car outweighing the positives. I do not have the time or the nerves for those frequent dealer visits, I am getting older...

Some of us are loyal the the brand; gives you good service and good discounts - maybe.
Some of us get bored with everything in time - I change girlfriends.
I been looking at S M-B, a new S500 with air suspension might be an option...
A new bike or yet another girlfriend...
I will now keep what I got and only play with shares, maybe I buy a Ferrari!
Be happy!

My Ride: '05 545i - scheduled for ED pickup in Munich on 7/22!
I voted for another BMW.
I think the 5er is becoming too smooth and not sporty for me so next time I'd like to try an M3 or something.
