Glad to see the interest generated by this thread. But I see that none of our members appear to own the colour in question. Here are links of pics from cars on sale by UK dealers. The quality of the pictures is quite bad, but it gives you an idea !

Apparentley, these cars were spec'd by BMW then given to the dealers as demos on condition that when sold, BMW got 75% of the list price.

This is why there are a number of identical models floating around, all 525ds.

Regards,
They did this with 535ds aswell. Lots of different individual paint / leather colours but the specs were all identical. All had head up display etc.

They had le mans blue but also diopside black and ruby black. These were all down as limited editions to get people to buy the last non-LCI cars. Still plenty for sale on autotrader.

A number of UK dealers had these on sale a few months back. I saw one in the flesh at the dealers with Champagne leather.
It really did look nice.
Would love to see one of the members post some pics up, it really is a striking colour.

Thanks

Hi All

New to the forum, but noticed this thread.
I bought one of these Individual cars in April of this year, albeit a 530d, and in Ruby Black (see below for full spec)

Was gonna go for an LCI 520d/525d M-Sport fully specced, but the dealer showed me this for similar money. Had most of the options I wanted. I figured a pre-LCI 530d was better than a post-LCI 520d/525d, so I went for it.
No regrets whatsoever. It's awesome!!!!

In the US BMW Inidividual is only available on the 7er.

i really lke that color, but like red, its a bit too strong, and gets old easily, IMO
How about individual red on an e60 - i think this looks cracking - i've seen it in the flesh.

Hmmmm, interesting post.

I bought a 525d M Sport at the start of Sept last year. When looking around the car instantly stood out from the rest. I thought the colour looked familiar but I hadnt seen it on a 5 Series, the alloys where alot better suited the 5 Series than ones on standard models and then when I looked inside I knew it was for me with all black!

I was told it was a BMW Demo car and that it had Individual paint and interior colour. The salesman thought it was Lemans Blue (wasnt 100% sure) and the interior trim colour was Piano Black from the Individual options.

It also says on a sheet I have about the car thats its fitted with Black Dakota leather seats, Media Pack (Sat Nav, 6 cd Player, Aux In, Bluetooth) and Anthracite Headlining.

I cant view any of the pics posted here but Im sure I can take a few pics soon if anyone is interested.

Baz
