It is time again to start car shopping. I am already on my 3rd e60 and need to say good bye to her this coming November.
There is no official word when the F10 will come to USA. The question is, how many of you in the same situation I am in will:

1. Get another e60
2. Try to negotiate with the dealer to keep current car and wait for the F10
3. will get a different model and come back to F10 2 years from now?

I am thinking about 3rd. So far my choices are:

1. X6
2. X5
3. 'Porscha' cayene.
4. audi (either A4 or A6 because of thir all wheel drive system is super)
5. 3 series (XI version)

My advice: test drive everything and see what you like the best. I expect that there will be some sick deals on E60s in the fall as BMW clears them out for the F10 which should arrive here sometime in 2010. That is how I got a killer deal on my 2003 540i Sport -- by getting it as BMW was making room for the launch of the E60.

 

I was thinking about a good deal on a fully loaded 535XI..
..by the way, I will be going to the next e60 meeting. I buy my car at the dealer in orange county. Near harriman.

There are good deals to be had on E60s. They will get better by the fall.

 

if you can, get into a 3 yr lease on another e60 (535i with an M sport pkg perhaps ), that will take you into 2nd/3rd yr production of the F10....

my lease will be up 12/2011...hope I can find an e60 around that time to get into...I highly doubt I'll getting into a first year F10...

My guess is that by 12/2011, you will be looking at a used E60 or one of the leftovers that somehow did not get sold.

Getting the first year car and even especially on a BMW is scary for me and will avoid it at all costs.
I rather have other people that are clueless to beta test them the first year or 2nd year before purchasing
